It’s time to say Merry Christmas! Now as we’ve been told we’re going to have snow, I thought I’d share my Christmas card with you. The decorative robins are from Dobbies Garden Centre. I’ve photographed them and used this Youtube video to create the snow in Adobe Photoshop.

The thing is, it can be difficult to capture a real falling snow shot due to needing fast shutter speeds in, often, low light. So get a nice snowy scene and then bring it into PS and make your own falling snow. The good thing is, once you have a nice blend of distant and near snow, just save it as a PSD then you can insert other images to create the same effect on them.
